Hybrid Fighting Arts is the style and system of fighting sport developed by Shihan
Jason DeLucia and Shihan Eric Kearns designed to bridge the gap between
Traditional Martial Arts and Modern Martial Arts also refered to as HYBRID
FIGHTING.
The Hybrid Fighting Association is the governing body that oversees Hybrid
Fighting and all of it competitions, certifications and technical development. Since
there is no competitive arena where amateur fighters can work in all ranges of
their fighting ability, the Hybrid Fighting Association seek to fill that void. Hybrid
Fighting was developed to enhance the fighting experience for today's Martial
Artists, while upholding the integrity, honor, character and safety of the
competitors. Hybrid Fighting Arts / Hybrid Fighting Association was developed and
all operations are overseen by Eric Kearns, Jason DeLucia, Don Rodrigues and
John Rietz
Shihan Jason DeLucia is one of the pioneers of Mixed Martial
Artists and was present at the practical birth of the sport as a
participant in both the Ultimate Fighting Championship 1 and UFC2
also UFC23 and has had many Pancrase and Shootbox Matches in
Japan. Shihan DeLucia has over 25 years training and experience
in both in the Traditional Martial Arts and in the Mixed Martial Arts

Martial Arts. Names like Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock , Frank
